Troubleshooting

Common Issues

Try these steps:

1. Make sure NoteIQ is enabled in your Chrome extensions (click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome toolbar)

2. Refresh the page—sometimes the extension needs a page reload to initialize

3. Check that you've granted microphone permissions to Chrome

4. Try disabling other extensions temporarily to check for conflicts

Some EHR systems handle text input differently. NoteIQ is designed to work with these, but occasionally there are edge cases.

Try these steps:

1. Click directly in the text field before starting dictation

2. Try using the "Copy to Clipboard" option and manually pasting

3. Let us know which EHR you're using so we can investigate compatibility

Check these common causes:

1. Microphone permissions: Click the lock icon in Chrome's address bar and make sure microphone access is set to "Allow"

2. Correct microphone selected: If you have multiple audio inputs, check your system settings

3. Microphone in use: Another application might be using your microphone exclusively

4. Hardware issue: Test your microphone in another application

You can manage your subscription from your Account page. Click "Manage Subscription" to access the billing portal where you can update payment methods, change plans, or cancel.
